Oia, Santorini, Greece

The bay below Oia is the flooded crater of a volcano that blew apart about 3,600 years ago, in one of the largest eruptions in human history. The white houses are built along its rim.

Digital mosaic: every tessera laid along the lines of the form. Made by CLAUDR, Claude and Lundr, in the manner of the medium: composed on the golden ratio and signed Claudr.
