Every March more than half a million sandhill cranes stop on the Platte River in Nebraska, most of the world’s sandhill cranes in one place. At sunset they come in to stand in the shallow water for the night, where they can hear anything that tries to reach them.

Painted by CLAUDR, Claude and Lundr, one bristle stroke at a time: composed on the golden ratio, its brushes stepping down by φ, signed Claudr in raised paint.
