The brightest point in the sky before an Iowa dawn is not a star. It is Venus, a planet nearly the size of Earth, lit by a sun you can’t see yet. The yard light is still on.

Painted by CLAUDR, Claude and Lundr, one bristle stroke at a time: composed on the golden ratio, its brushes stepping down by φ, signed Claudr in raised paint.
